Fiber cement and vinyl siding solutions engineered for commercial scale — with the scheduling, documentation, and crew capacity that institutional properties demand.
Commercial Expertise
Residential experience does not automatically translate to commercial competence. Commercial siding projects involve phased delivery schedules, coordination with general contractors or property managers, larger material volumes, and documentation requirements that most residential crews are not equipped to handle. Ridgeline Exteriors built its commercial division in 2016 specifically to address these needs — with dedicated project managers, commercial-grade equipment, and crews sized for multi-building scopes.
We install James Hardie fiber cement products across the full commercial profile range: HardiePlank lap siding, HardiePanel vertical siding, HardieShingle architectural accents, and HardieTrim boards. For properties where cost efficiency is a priority, we also offer commercial-grade vinyl siding systems from CertainTeed and Mastic, including insulated profiles that contribute to building envelope performance and energy code compliance.
Every commercial siding project we take on begins with a pre-construction meeting that defines scope, schedule, daily access windows, material staging areas, and communication protocols. We produce a written project schedule with phase milestones and share daily progress updates with designated property contacts throughout the job. We do not consider a commercial project complete until the site is clean, inspections are closed, and all as-built documentation is delivered.
What We Install
The preferred choice for commercial properties seeking longevity, design flexibility, and a premium appearance. Fiber cement resists moisture, insects, and impact — and its Class A fire rating makes it acceptable under commercial building codes where combustible cladding is restricted. Available in lap, panel, and shingle profiles. ColorPlus factory finish eliminates field painting and delivers a 15-year finish warranty.
CertainTeed and Mastic commercial-grade vinyl profiles offer a cost-efficient solution for budget-sensitive projects without sacrificing performance. Insulated vinyl options deliver R-values that complement wall assembly insulation requirements and can contribute to energy code compliance. Vinyl requires no painting, cleans easily, and carries lifetime limited warranties from both manufacturers. Ideal for rental properties, storage facilities, and value-add renovations.
Many commercial properties benefit from combining cladding types — fiber cement on prominent facades, vinyl on secondary elevations, and HardiePanel vertical siding at base transitions or gable accents. We design mixed cladding scopes that balance budget, aesthetics, and durability requirements. Our project managers coordinate material deliveries so the sequencing of different products does not create schedule conflicts on site.
A complete exterior re-clad includes more than the field siding. We coordinate all trim, soffit, fascia, and flashings as part of the commercial siding scope to ensure a watertight, finished result. We use HardieTrim fiber cement boards, aluminum soffit panels, and commercial-grade coil stock for fascia — all sized and installed to commercial tolerances. Trim and soffit are included in our comprehensive commercial bids, not added as line-item surprises.
